(Stepford Wives come to mind) She is aware that heroes are looking for Felix and she should know Gabe enough to at least suspect that he wouldn't give up the ring just like that. She seems to be so sickedly sweet it's suspicious. Imo, most likely that story she mentioned in conversation with Felix Sure, I could see it happening, that she was passionatly nagging Gabriel for those rings so much (despite them being his wedding bands) just to give them as a gift to her son, but there seems to be more to it than just that. Yes, wanting family heirloom is normal, but we later find out that she wanted them for Felix who was suprised himself. Her reasons for wanting the rings are odd as well. So she seems fine for someone whose spouse died less than a year ago and given the similarity of their situations, one might think she would be more considerate towards Gabriel, but she damanded the rings even before a year has passed since her sister's death She's been writing to Gabe about the rings even before that episode. From convo between Adrien and Felix, we know that her husband died later so she's been widowed for less than a year. She shows up during "Felix" on anniversary of her sister's death. Many things were already pointed out, so I'll just expand on it Maybe the sisters hated each other, for example. But perhaps there's something deeper there. As for 1, it shows she is a callous person (point 2 also points towards this), at least on the surface. What might be the underlying reasons for this is not something I can fathom (no pun intended) right now. Clearly not a normal mother-son relationship. I'd even go as far as saying she actually seems to look up to him, at least to me. What conclusions can we draw from this? From 2 or 3, it's clear that her love for Félix is not the same as that of a normal mother for her son. In fact, had I not known she was his mother, that's what I would've thought she was. In Multiplication, she seemed to be behaving more like Félix's personal secretary or maid rather than his mother. She didn't seem to disapprove of Félix outright stealing the Graham de Vanily ring. She didn't seem particularly sad about the death of her own twin sister, even mocking Gabriel for remembering her. is extremely helpful.) → Subreddit Wiki: Where to Watch/Purchase & List of Episode Discussions ← The spoiler description can be anything but should be useful to the reader to indicate what exactly is being spoiled.
